This television news piece, created as part of my Broadcast Journalism portfolio during my second year at university acquiring a Bachelor of Arts (Honors) Degree in Journalism and Communication, covers the ‘The Salt March event by Reconnect’, which took place on Friday, March 12th, 2021 at RAK Natures Treasures (@raknaturestreasures) in Ras Al Khaimah, U.A.E. The event encouraged multi-national, UAE-based artists and creatives to visit the farm & museum for a chance to reconnect with nature and their shared passion for art while experiencing all seven dimensions of wellness. The activity I chose to focus on was part of the Environmental dimension, ‘Collective Art of Metanoia’.
